Sky Dance Collective
The Sky Dance Collective envisions a thriving arts community where dance is accessible, inspiring, and transformative for all. Through a unique collaboration between a core company of professional dancers and an apprentice company of talented regional young artists, the Collective produces professional dance performances that celebrate local artistic excellence and original and re-imagined choreography.
Beyond the stage, Sky Dance Collective is committed to deepening community engagement through school-day performances, dancer-in-residence programs, community dance intensives, children’s dance workshops, and educational outreach opportunities. By welcoming guest artists and providing workshop and mentoring experiences, the Sky Dance Collective seeks to enrich the artistic landscape of the region and cultivate the next generation of dancers and arts advocates.
Our vision is to create meaningful opportunities for community members of all ages to experience the joy, beauty, and power of dance–both as performers and audience members–while fostering a vibrant and connected community through the arts.
